Plans of RetroCores, and an apology
Hello,

I am truly sorry for being so quiet of late, but you see I've been busy working non-stop on quality upgrades in MasterCores.
If you follow MasterCores news you can easily see this, that the last month have been nothing but a long line of updates and fixes.

Now, I've spent some crazy time working on a old and known problem that has plagued all tibia for decades.
The freeze glitch.. you know.. the one that almost never happens.. but sometimes still it just happens and there you are, seeing the character at one point, when in reality the character is actually 1 sqm outside of the position.
This issue have been happening in Tibia and even other online games for decades, literally.

And the issue can't be recreated on demand, which make it impossible to explore and fix and test if fixed.. no.. this issues takes a lot of guessing, and testing on a number of players, because you can't be certain it's fixed until days have passed.

These upgrades and attempt to patch the issue (it's showing promising results by the way) made me late to begin upgrading RetroCores.
However, I've vouched that I want that issue to be found and fully patched before I start upgrading RetroCores to ensure the next era of RetroCores includes this important fix to ensure that nobody will ever get randomly stuck for whatever reason.

Now, the plans for RetroCores.
  • Upgrade RetroCores in terms of quality of service, such as being more smooth, available and more attractive.
  • Launch new 2x worlds, like Antica/Danera/Elysia, they were without a doubt the most attractive ones peaking impressive amount of players.
  • When RetroCores has enough people discussions will be started, what the community would like of RetroCores in terms of updates and content.

We've started by sorting up the community in the public discord, creating a kind of leveling system there loyal people get ranks of loyalty.
To sort out the real people from trolls and haters, to make it a lot easier to communicate with the community in multiple ways.

I can't say when exactly the updates are starting, but I'm hoping to get started on updating RetroCores within few days, as soon as the freeze-issues have been confirmed to be solved.

Sincerely,
Marcus
