Review of PVP system to protect RetroCores from destructive forces
We've seen a big increase of destructive behavior cased by people who wish to see RetroCores to lose players.
These people are what some would call "fanboys" of other games that see RetroCores as a big threat to whatever game they play.

What does these people do?
They create low levels in big groups to target essential players that keep the game alive.
They target streamers (streamsniping) trying to make streamers quit so they don't show RetroCores anymore.
But they also target random people in attempt to make them quit.
Some of these people are so extreme that they actually spend a lot of money buying high level characters and runes from unofficial sources to destroy as much as they can within RetroCores.

This was most clear in Antica a few months ago, there people couldn't login to play at all because if they did, high levels would come to kill them near instantly.

With this, we need to find a good way to keep the game classic, but still protect our loyal players from being targeted by these "fanboys".
And we have a solution, if people would be okay with it.

Death Reduction System:
If you die unfairly in a PVP situation your death-losses might be reduced depending on the situation.
The more players and higher levels they are that kill you, the more your losses will be reduced.
If you die while not having a skull and haven't killed another player in the last 24 hours, you are extra protected against team-ambushes.
And if you haven't made a single frag for more than a week, you have additional protection against death-losses.
You are not protected by the reduction system if you have a white/red skull, nor when you have unprovoked attacked another player.

The reduction system is a design to protect dedicated players from being targets of less dedicated players who just seek to kill players for fun on dangerous levels.
Game killing such as trying to make players unable to play the game until nobody is left online.

What does that mean?
It means that friendly players, that never does any PVP is partially protected from high lvls that seek to kill them.
It also means that friendly players are partly protected from big groups of players coming to kill them for no apparent reason.

It also means, that people that is involved in PVP, is less protected, and anyone that is random pking, isn't protected at all.

To be clear:
This doesn't mean it's impossible to PK or PVP, as long the fight is fair or almost fair, it will be like the classic death system.
So if you're a few levels above your target wont be a problem.
