(follow up) public online list for the new antibot world?
To avoid further discussion whether the online list should be public or not considering the last poll narrow result, we redo the poll with only 2 options to avoid more discussions whether how to count the results.
Repeated question:
What's your opinion about online list for the new antibot world?
Should it be public or remain based on forum-usernames for the protection of the community and world?
But keep in mind, an open online list is a great tool for people who want to ruin things, it will be used by people when they want to random pk, to find "fitting targets", often targets that has much less power than the pker.
An open online list also make it easier for hackers or other destructive people to send PM's to majority online with things that's either meant to hurt the game, or to hack the target, etc people claiming to be "antibot system" and ask you to follow link or be deleted and many more things.
We originally replace public online list with forum-usernames because many previous worlds took serious damage caused by ill-intending people.
So please, know what you're voting for, and understand what it means.
As admin, my point of view: we now live in a time there public online list and exiva spell is not a good combination to have mixed.
But for sake for "oldschool feels" we're not going to remake exiva, which leave us to try protect the online list.
