Using Unofficial Software to Play

Manipulating the official client program or using additional software to play the game.

Manipulating the official client program:
Manipulating the client program to try gaining an advantage compared to other players is not only extremely unfair but may also cause serious errors in the game. In such cases you cannot expect any assistance from RetroCores concerning level, skill, item or character loss due to manipulating their software or the game protocol. Also, manipulating the client program may lead to a punishment.

Using additional software to play the game:
Keep in mind that you are supposed to play the game yourself, not to have a tool or program play it for you. Doing so gives you an unfair advantage over players who invest time and effort to gain power. Using unofficial software such as a macro program or a so-called "tasker" or "bot" to automatically execute actions in RetroCores for you may lead to a punishment. Thus, play fair.
Using additional software to play the game such as cheat programs is not only forbidden, but also poses a high hacking risk. These programs - especially if offered to you by other players - often contain a virus, trojan or some other sort of backdoor through which a hacker can access your computer and take over your account. It is highly recommended not to ever download and use such a cheat program.

Simplified Cheating Rules

Legal (Things you're allowed to do):

Having a gaming mouse/keyboard
Assigning mouse/keyboard hotkeys as TEXT without delay or repeat
(spells, commands, other text-based messages)
Using native mouse/keyboard software to create additional hotkeys
(as long it's TEXT, and not delayed/repeated)

Avoid (Things that could get you punished without ability to recover!):

Using remote desktop to play
(using teamviewer, anydesk or other should be avoided, they often start macros which could get you deleted)
Using Virtual Machine
(similar to remote desktops, VM's can enable certain "features" that act like cheats)
Cheating in other games while playing RetroCores
(It's highly unrecommended to have active cheats while in RetroCores, even if they're meant for other games, you could get deleted for cheats to other games!)

Illegal (Things you could get deleted for):

Putting physical items on hotkeys
(etc, putting a stone on F1 to spamm spells)
Assigning mouse/keyboard hotkeys as ACTIONS, or with delays or repeat
(etc, clicking key will cause mouse to move and use a mana fluid on yourself, or delay the action or repeat it automatically)
Modify or using a modified client to play
(a client not released by RetroCores)
Using bot
(no matter the reason, no matter the purpose, bot is illegal)
Using macro
(no matter the reason, no matter the purpose, macro is illegal)
Using tasker
(no matter the reason, no matter the purpose, tasker is illegal)
Using software to automatically perform hotkeys/actions
(anything that automatically does something for you)
