Turning RetroCores into 64x64 graphic instead of 32x32 pixel?
Disclaimer:
We've successfully created a 64x64 pixel based graphic sprites for RetroCores.
We've been running test of the graphics using a test-client which have been downloadable for a little time and tested out by various players with good ratings.
The graphics are the real deal, they're not fake generated by an engine in the client that not only use unnecessary resources but also limits the graphics A LOT.
The the real HD graphics that RetroCores now has, opens doors to many abilities for the future that a "generator" couldn't possible achieve ever.
For example we can now create creatures that's 4x smaller than originally, while still looking alright! (example picture below).
For the reason that these are the real graphic, it's not possible to have settings for it so people themselves can chose to play on 32p or 64p.
Due to that we've created this poll, in hopes we get the community's full support to switch out and make RetroCores a 64p sprite based game that can keep pushing the limits of the future!
We still keep the graphic in 7.4 aspect, just better looking.. a game that now doesn't tire your eyes as quickly because the game is now sharper than before.
Looking at 64p, and then looking at 32p it will look like the 32p is foggy and hard to focus on.
Warning, the images are too big to display in 1:1 aspect, but you can right-click on them and open in new tab/window to see full size!Original 32p graphics

And here comes a few images what's possible with REAL graphic:
A small rat, next to a "normal sized" rat, and still looking cool!
Or why not, a small character!
Of course, we might find sprites that doesn't look as good as they should after being turned into HD, and of course we'll in those situations try to make a better version of it to ensure that everyone is happy with the HD graphics!
Now to the final decision,
Should RetroCores start using 64p graphics instead of 32p on all available clients?
