RetroCores is a high-end target for various of attacks

RetroCores is a high-end target for various of attacks, such as DDos, hacker attacks and more.
Out of a whole year (365 days) there's maybe 20-30 days in total that can pass without a single attack.
Every other day, you can expect there's some kind of attack going on.

The attacks are getting more and more sophisticated, so much that modern DDos-Protection have troubles keeping up with it.
DDos is when multiple "virus affected" computers are spamming the same target with intention to disconnect or crash it.
DDos Protection rely on detecting network activity that follows certain patterns, years ago you could detect DDos by checking for activity that made no sense, just junk being spammed.
Today, DDos is rarely just "junk", the modern DDos is trying to act like users, making it extra difficult to sort out from legit traffic.

See a target as a store, there DDos protection is the guard making sure only legit customers can enter.
First age of DDos, would be like ducks, the guard would see the ducks trying to enter the store and stop them from getting in.
Today, DDos is more like thives, they look like customers, and are hard to figure out at the door if they're customers or not.
When they're inside the store, the chance of detecting them as destructive or customer is much easier, but in there they're already posing a threat and could crown the store making it impossible for legit customers to walk normally or even enter.

DDos is always evolving, since the launch of RetroCores in 2019, we've seen the progress of DDos and various attacks, how they're getting better, smarter and more destructive.

There's even DDos, that can bypass CloudFlare, multiple websites used CloudFlare to protect their websites from attackers, but for RetroCores CloudFlare would do nothing but just costing extra money, as much of the attacks that reach RetroCores has CloudFlare bypass.
Similar DDos can bypass DDos-Protection provided by many companies, such as OVH.
Which is what happening a lot in RetroCores.

Fight against DDos and stay smooth is a never ending battle.
